What I Think Therapy Is

Therapy is:
- reminding people of their strengths as individuals.
- challenging habits of self-criticism.
- a series of beneficial conversations.
- a safe place to find your voice.
- more beneficial when the client trusts and feels comfortable with the therapist.
- funny.
- a way to generate options when you feel you don’t have any.
- a place to borrow hope when you have none.
- frustrating and rewarding.
- draining and energizing.
- confusing and enlightening.
