Wounded?
If my heart is wounded emotionally, I’d rather be a wounded lion than a wounded puppy. That doesn’t mean I stop being kind to others, and it definitely doesn’t mean I start treating people poorly. It just means that it feels better to attack life, instead of whimpering that life isn’t fair.
